48 Mr. D. Ahern asked the Minister for Finance if he will give details of the meeting which he had with Deputies from the Border area on 5 March 1997 in relation to the cross-Border workers' taxation issue; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [12090/97]

I refer the Deputy to the reply I gave to two parliamentary questions concerning the issue of cross-Border workers' taxation on 1 May. The topics in this reply were, in general, the areas covered in my meeting with Members of the Oireachtas and the Seanad on this issue last March.
