143 Mr. L. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for the Marine the polls and qualitative research, if any, commissioned or carried out by his Department since December 1994, including details of the companies which conducted them and the cost of each poll or item of research. [13099/97]

Minister for Defence (Mr. Barrett)

The Department of the Marine conducted an informal survey of clients' views of the Department as an input into the strategic management initiative process in 1995. The survey was conducted by the Department's own staff and costs were minimal.
