70 Mr. N. Treacy asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the reason the relevant officials from his Department have not visited a site (details supplied) in County Galway; the date on which this will be done; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13078/97]

As conveyed by me to the Deputy by letter of 5 March last, a site meeting to discuss the issues involved can be arranged as soon as Galway County Council's proposals have been received by the national monuments and historic properties service of my Department.
