Question:69 Mr. Ellis asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will allow navigation on the Shannon-Erne waterway up to 10.30 p.m. for the summer months to facilitate users. [13077/97]

Navigation on the Shannon-Erne waterway is from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and there has been little demand for users to extend these hours. Accordingly, it is not my intention at this time to provide for an extension of the hours of navigation.
