The Western Health Board has advised that the individual in question does not have any entitlement to a lump sum payment or pension as she had less than the minimum of five years' service required for qualification for superannuation benefits. However, the board has indicated that the former employee is entitled to a refund of the superannuation contribution, less 25 per cent tax, paid by her while in employment. Such payment will be made by the board on receipt of an application from the individual for the necessary refund.
