286 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education and Science the grant aid which is available from his Department to enable students participate in the horticultural course in Warrenstown Agricultural College, County Westmeath. [15739/97]

Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin)

: There is no grant aid available to students pursuing the horticultural course at Warrenstown Agricultural College under the schemes of student support operated by my Department.

However, I understand that Teagasc awards grant aid to such students.
