190 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have investigations made into the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 in order to find a suitable residential home for her which is convenient to her elderly mother who will want to visit her daughter. As the Deputy will be aware, the provision of suitable services to persons with a mental handicap in County Dublin is the responsibility of the Eastern Health Board.

I have asked the chief executive officer of the Eastern Health Board to examine this matter and to respond directly to the Deputy.
