215 Mr. B. Smith asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the inadequate sewerage scheme in Cootehill, County Cavan, is preventing development in the town; when the contract documents will be approved in respect of this scheme; when tenders will be invited; when construction work will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Contract documents for the Cootehill sewerage scheme are in my Department. However, given the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to approve this proposal.
