214 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will have arrangements made for payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in view of his severe financial hardship. [17238/97]

An inspector has reported that the floor area of the house exceeds the maximum limit of 125 square metres. However, the applicant has appealed the matter and a further inspection of the house will be carried out shortly.
