102 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will have arrangements made to expedite transfer of lands for a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where payment of grants in respect of forestry planting are withheld pending completion of the dealing. I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that the person named by the Deputy has been the registered owner of Folios 7214, 385F, 7304 and 13330 since 1987 and there is no record of any application currently pending on these folios.
I am further informed that the remaining folio number identified by the Deputy may be incorrect. If the Deputy can let me have additional details on this folio, I will have further inquiries made in the matter.
103 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will have arrangements made to expedite a Land Registry dealing for a person (details supplied) in County Mayo in view of the fact that the delay is causing financial hardship. [18315/97]
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this dealing refers to a transfer of part which was lodged on 26 March 1997. Queries issued on this dealing to the lodging solicitor on 10 May 1997 and replies are awaited. The queries raised must be satisfactorily discharged before the matter can proceed.
