236 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when persons (details supplied) in County Mayo will be approved for the early farm retirement scheme in view of the fact that they applied through the Teagasc office in Claremorris in July 1995 and the delay has caused extreme financial hardship. This application was received on 31 October 1997 in the local Farm Development Office. Further documentation is awaited from the applicant and when that is received the application will be processed and if found to be in order, payment will be made.
