383 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation whether a group (details supplied) in County Mayo will be approved for national lottery funding in view of the fact that they have been applying for five years. [18497/97]
The latest application for funding under the sports capital programme was received from this group on 26 July 1996.
Grants under the 1997 programme have been allocated and all available funds are now committed to existing projects. Consequently, it will not be possible to consider any new applications until the next round of grant approvals.
