94 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the plans, if any, he has to establish a sports coaching programme in partnership with the Sports Council for Northern Ireland; and the progress, if any, which has been made in this regard since June 1997. [19197/97]

The National Coaching and Training Centre is involved in ongoing discussions with its corresponding institution in Northern Ireland in relation to the area of sports coaching in Ireland.
