Michael D. Higgins

Question:

91 Mr. M. Higgins asked the Minister for Finance the request, if any, he has received from Offaly County Council to meet a deputation regarding the future of the former reformatory building at Daingean, County Offaly; if so, when she will meet the deputation; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [20680/97]

I have not received a request from Offaly County Council to meet a deputation regarding the future of the former reformatory building at Daingean, County Offaly. The building has been allocated to the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands and is used to store National Museum artefacts.
