Question:

92 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Finance if he intends to invoke the necessary finance to compensate people through the Irish Red Cross as has been done in 1995 for damage done to private property. [20658/97]

There are no funds provided within the Vote of the Office of Public Works to pay compensation to victims of flooding in 1997.
