150 Mrs. B. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will give an assurance that off farm incomes by farmers will not interfere with the payment of headage grants in 1998 and following years. [22951/97]

There are no proposals to introduce an off-farm income clause in the headage schemes.
