192 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Finance the plans, if any, he has for the old Garda station at Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 when the new station is occupied in view of the lack of premises for community organisations in the Blanchardstown area. [23054/97]

It is anticipated that the new Garda station in Blanchardstown will be occupied in autumn 1998.

If the old station is surplus to the State's accommodation requirements at that stage, it is likely to be sold by public auction or tender.
