Question:

319 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of staff recruited by his Department since taking office; the function and remuneration, including expenses, of each of these staff; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [22917/97]

I assume the Deputy is referring to those staff recruited by my Department whose appointments will terminate not later than the date on which the present Minister and Minister of State cease to hold office.
