322 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number and identity of all contracts in excess of £300,000 awarded by his office or other bodies under the aegis of his Department from the period 30 June 1997 to date; whether these contracts were awarded by public tender or otherwise; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy will no doubt be aware that there are a substantial number of offices/associated agencies which come under the aegis of my Department. Accordingly, the information sought by the Deputy is not readily available to me and could only be obtained by the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of staff time and resources.
