Vol. 485 No. 4

Written Answers. - Hospital Waiting Lists.

Question:

145 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will review the question of providing treatment for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 6, in view of the fact that her need for treatment has now been classified as urgent; and if he will have arrangements made for treatment at the earliest possible date. [23565/97]

As the provision of treatment for the person concerned is the responsibility of the Adelaide Hospital, I have asked the chief executive officer of the hospital to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly as a matter of urgency.
