Question:

186 Mr. Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of full-time and part-time positions that were filled in the Mayo local employment service; and the ratio and number of men and women employed in each category. [1809/98]

The composition of staff, currently employed, in the Mayo Local Employment Service Network, LESN, is as follows:

All 15 staff are full-time staff of the local employment service. However, the eight reception/ information officer positions were made full-time posts in November 1997, Prior to this, these posts were filled by 16 people participating on a community employment programme.
