197 Mr. Perry asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if her attention has been drawn to the concerns expressed by the retail grocery trade in relation to the apparently close relationship between a company (details supplied) and Forbairt in view of circumstances (details supplied); and if she will make a statement on the matter. I am aware of the issues raised by the Deputy. However, all operational and editorial decisions regarding the Enterprise and Innovation magazine are matters for Forbairt and are not ones in which I have a direct function.
However, in light of the concerns expressed, I have satisfied myself that the statutory role and objectivity of Forbairt are not in any way compromised by the contents of the article.
