516 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Finance if he will instruct the Office of Public Works to resolve the flooding problem in an area (details supplied) of north Mayo in view of the fact that the problem is getting worse. [1861/98]
The Commissioners of Public Works advise that their resources are fully committed to advancing the schemes on their current priority list of urban flood relief schemes. Consequently, they are unable to instigate investigations into flooding problems in the area in question at present.
