Vol. 486 No. 1

Written Answers. - Medical Appliances.

Brendan Howlin

Question:

547 Mr. Howlin asked the Minister for Health and Children if a special chair recommended by the Occupational Therapist at St. James's Hospital, Dublin 8 for a person (details supplied) will be provided in the near future; if his attention has been drawn to the fact that the patient's condition is deteriorating in the absence of this special chair; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1338/98]

I have had inquiries made in this matter from the authorities at St. James's Hospital. Unfortunately, on the information given the hospital is unable to locate a record for this patient.

If the Deputy could confirm that the patient's details are correct I will have further investigations made into this matter.
