Question:611 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children the steps, if any, which have been taken to establish a social services inspectorate since he took office; if it is his intention to establish the inspectorate on a non-statutory basis initially; when the first advertisements for positions in the inspectorate will appear; whether the inspectorate will be independent and seen to be independent of the Department of Health and Children; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
