612 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of meetings of the Co-ordinating Committee on Children's Affairs between 20 December 1994 and 26 June 1997; the number of meetings since 26 June 1997 to date in 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2166/98]
There were 103 meetings of the Co-ordinating Committee on Children's Affairs established by my predecessor between 20 December 1994 and 26 June 1997. Since my appointment as Minister of State at the Department of Health and Children I have held frequent meetings with officials of the Department. I have also involved officials of other Departments when I have deemed this to be useful.
