It is proposed to take Questions Nos. 683 and 690 together.
I propose to introduce by mid-February, the 1998 social welfare Bill to give effect to the various changes in the social welfare area including the increases announced in the 1998 budget.
At this stage there are no specific proposals for legislation for which heads have not been approved by Government.
