767 Mr. Haughey asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if the fraud squad have been asked to investigate the activities of a company (details supplied) currently in receivership; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1541/98]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that they are in receipt of correspondence about the matter in question which is receiving appropriate attention.

768 Mr. G. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason persons (details supplied) in Dublin 12 continue to receive threatening phone calls and to have their property destroyed in spite of numerous representations and a parliamentary question; the steps, if any, he has taken to deal with this matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [1542/98]

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the most recent complaints received in this matter are currently being investigated and are receiving the appropriate Garda attention.
