161 Dr. Upton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment if she will give details of moneys given by her Department to charities for each of the years from 1990 to date in 1998; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [1231/98]
My Department has checked on all payments made between 1992, when it was established, to date in 1998 but it has not been possible to identify which are charities. If the Deputy is in a position to give me a list of the organisations which he regards as charities I will certainly have a check done by my Department and I will be happy to supply him with the information.
