182 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of individual applications received by the Southern Health Board for nursing home subventions in the greater Cork area for each of the years 1996 and 1997. [2579/98]

The number of individual applications received by the Southern Health Board for nursing home subventions in the greater Cork area, i.e. Cork City and suburbs for the years 1996 and 1997 was 369 and 434 respectively.
