73 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will provide grant support to Waterford Corporation to undertake the scheme to realign and improve the Tramore road to the city boundary; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2378/98]

The maintenance and improvement of non-national roads is a matter for the local authority concerned, in this case Waterford Corporation. No proposal has been made to my Department on the works in question.
