169 Mr. Browne (Wexford): asked the Minister for Health and Children the reason a person (details supplied) in County Wexford is waiting over two years for a knee operation through the South-Eastern Health Board; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2405/98]
The provision of medical treatment to eligible persons in County Wexford, in this instance, is the responsibility of the South-Eastern Health Board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the South-Eastern Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply to the Deputy directly.
