Vol. 486 No. 6

Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.

Eamon Gilmore

Question:

225 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government the proposals, if any, he has received from Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council for an improved drainage scheme at Carysfort, Blackrock, County Dublin; when finance will be allocated for this project; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [3266/98]

A preliminary report for the Carysfort to Maretimo stream improvement scheme at an estimated cost of £1.75 million has been submitted to my Department. Because of the high level of commitments under the water and sewerage services investment programme, I cannot say when it may be possible to advance this scheme.
