Vol. 487 No. 3

Written Answers. - Unemployment Levels.

Mary Coughlan

Question:

239 Ms Coughlan asked the Minister for Social, Community and Family Affairs the number on the live register in Bundoran, Ballyshannon, Donegal town, Killybegs, Ballybofey and Stranorlar, County Donegal. [4148/98]

The number of persons registered as unemployed in each social welfare local office in Donegal at the end of December 1997 is given in Table 1. It should be noted that unemployed persons in Bundoran are registered in Ballyshannon and unemployed persons in Stranorlar are registered in Ballybofey. Hence, it is not possible to give separate figures for each of these two towns, as requested by the Deputy.
