130 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation the status of the review into the Government lottery grant system; if this affects applications pending or the allocations for 1998; and if an application (details supplied) in County Wexford is eligible for consideration. [4450/98]
My Department will shortly commence a comprehensive review of the operation of the sports capital programme. However, before work commences on the review, all grant applications currently on hands will be examined in the context of the 1998 round of allocations.
The application from the club, which was received in my Department in December 1997, will be considered in the context of this examination.
