Question:

131 Mr. Allen asked the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation if he will give details of the decision on the application by the local drugs task force in Cork; the amount of finance which was made available to it; if this finance was designated to any specific organisations; and, if so, which organisations. [4451/98]

The Government, on the recommendation of the national drugs strategy team, approved funding of £566,700 to support the implementation of the action plan prepared by the Cork drugs task force. Details of the specific proposals/organisations which were approved for funding are set out in the attached schedule.
