Written Answers. - Fishing Vessel Licences.
Eighty two applications under the special small vessel licensing scheme have been received from vessel owners in County Mayo. The processing of applications generally under the special scheme is being carried out as a priority in my Department. The first batch of licences will be issued within the next week. Licences will then continue to be processed and issued as quickly as possible for applications meeting the criteria of the scheme.
