Question:

238 Mr. C. Lenihan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the submission by the Irish Home Builders' Association in relation to spiralling house prices. [6365/98]

I propose to take Questions Nos. 237 and 238 together.

I am aware of the submission by the Irish Home Builders' Association to the consultants undertaking the house price study. I expect to receive the report of the study around the end of this month.
