Tógfaidh mé Ceisteanna Uimh. 259 agus Uimh. 260 le chéile.

The Minister for the Environment and Local Government and myself are currently finalising a package of legislative, financial and administrative proposals for strengthening the protection of the architectural heritage, based on the recommendations contained in the report of the inter-departmental working group on strengthening the protection of the architectural heritage, and we hope to have this package considered by Government shortly. Subject to Government approval of this package of proposals it is hoped to have the necessary legislation drafted and published before the end of this year.
