173 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the consultations, if any, with the veterinary profession and the farming organisations regarding the introduction of Annex A, Chapter 1 of S.I. No. 9 of 1996. [7350/98]
My Department had numerous meetings over the past few years with the veterinary associations and the farming and industry organisations in relation to the scheme for animal health inspections of cows under S.I. No. 9 of 1996. There have been further meetings in the recent past to discuss specific aspects of the operation of the scheme.
