175 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in processing a REP Scheme payment for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in view of the fact that all the necessary work is carried out; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [7378/98]

This case was chosen for a compliance inspection which has now been completed. A penalty is being applied which may be appealed. Payment of the balance will issue within the next week.
