206 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will be appointed as a permanent dental nurse with the Western Health Board in view of the length of his service. [6925/98]
The appointment of persons to permanent positions is, subject to the usual employment control conditions, a day to day matter for the health board. I have asked the chief executive officer of the Western Health Board to investigate the position in relation to this case and to reply directly to the Deputy as a matter of urgency.
