345 Mr. P. Carey asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the state of progress in relation to tendering for the CCTV system in the Finglas area, Dublin 11; when the installation works will begin; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [6999/98]
The Garda authorities have informed me that tender documents are being drawn up for issue through the official journal of the European Community for a CCTV system in the Finglas area in conjunction with a number of other CCTV systems. A precise date for the commencement of the installation will be determined when the tendering stage has been completed.
