447 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if he has received a request from the board of management of a school (details supplied) in County Cork for grant aid for essential repairs; and if he will make funds available immediately for these works. [7427/98]

My Department has received a request for repair works from the Board of Management of the school referred to by the Deputy. The application is currently being considered within my Department and a decision will be conveyed to the school shortly.
