569 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands if she is in a position to confirm the improvement in road signs, bollards and so on that she proposes to provide on the Grand Canal bank, Goldenbridge Walk, Inchicore, Dublin 8, at the junction with Vincent Street; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The traffic barriers and bollards at the junction of St. Vincent Street and Goldenbridge Walk, Dublin 8, were erected many years ago by Dublin Corporation. A joint project team was recently established between my Department and Dublin Corporation to consider and prepare a programme of improvements to the Grand and Royal Canals corridors. Officials of my Department will raise the matters referred to by the Deputy at the next meeting of the joint project team.
