Written Answers. - Sale of Cablelink.
Following consideration of various options on the basis of a memorandum submitted by the Minister for Public Enterprise in relation to the future development of Cablelink, the Government decided on 7 April 1998 that Telecom Eireann's and RTE's shareholdings in the company should be disposed of by means of a trade sale as soon as possible.
