A total of 57 personnel currently serving with the 82nd Infantry Battalion have been recommended for service with the 83rd Infantry Battalion. The actual number of those personnel who will remain in Lebanon for a further tour of duty will not be finally known until return of the final chalk on 6 May 1998.
