Question:

85 Mr. Wall asked the Minister for Defence the number of apprentices in the Army Apprentice School, Naas, County Kildare; the number of trades being used; the number of apprentices per trade; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9326/98]

There are currently 39 apprentices being trained between five trades in the Army Apprentice School, Naas, County Kildare. The breakdown in numbers per trade is as follows: five fitter/turners, six carpenters, six electricians, six motor technicians, 16 radio technicians/electronic service technicians.
