Vol. 490 No. 2

Written Answers - State Property.

Michael Bell

Question:

19 Mr. Bell asked the Minister for Finance the details, if any, of the Office of Public Works' interest in a building in the centre of Drogheda (details supplied); and the Government's position in relation to this matter. [9535/98]

The Office of Public Works has recently decided that this premises is surplus to State requirements and should, therefore, be disposed of.

Droichead Arts Centre has expressed an interest in operating an arts centre there and has been given time to develop a proposal on how it would finance the purchase of the building.
