147 Mrs. Owen asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the investigations, if any, he carried out following the receipt of a request from a person (details supplied) in Dublin 3 regarding a hit and run accident. [11593/98]

I refer the Deputy to my reply of 24 February 1998 to a parliamentary question about the same matter — Official Report, Vol. 487, No.6, column 1220. All that I can add to that reply is that a letter has since issued to the person concerned.
